🍎 About Me
Hi there! I'm an educator with a heart for support, a mind for growth, and a passion for lifelong learning. Since September 2019, I've worked as a paraeducator across nearly every educational setting from preschool early intervention to 12th grade learning support. My experience has been especially rooted in behavioral and emotional support environments, where I've had the privilege of helping students navigate challenges and celebrate their progress.
During my student teaching, I worked with K–6 and 7–12 life skills/emotional support classrooms, deepening my commitment to inclusive education and individualized learning. I believe every student deserves a champion, and I strive to be that steady presence in their academic journey.
Before entering the education field, I spent ten years in hospitality, where I honed my communication, empathy, and adaptability skills that now serve me daily in the classroom. I'm a firm believer in professional growth and jump at any opportunity to attend workshops, trainings, or development sessions.
Outside of work, I enjoy watching true crime shows, spending time with friends and family, and keeping up a cherished tradition: taking my mom to the Trans-Siberian Orchestra every year.
Thanks for stopping by I'm excited to share my journey and continue growing as an educator!
